Environmental Graphic Design (Design in an exterior environment) uses elements such as colours, typography, patterns, materials, images, technology, themes, and messaging to tell a story in our environment. It can be as simple as signage, or as broad sculptural, architectural and multidisciplinary installations. Environmental Graphic Design, uses design elements to create layers of meaning, a voice for the storytelling of the space's narrative of place, integrating that story with its users.

The relationship between graphics and environmental space is symbiotic. Graphics when well considered and relatable, can make spatial environments more engaging and memorable. These environments offer a way for graphic design to evolve in its connection, by sharing stories, conveying brand values and crafting a holistic visual experience. Spatial graphics can nurture a sense of place, by finding deep, emotional or cultural ties, and fostering a connection with occupants and visitors, who interact in the space.

Human-centred design, considers real people at the centre of the design development process. This looks at the big picture - the story, the people, the culture, the brand, the space, behaviours, feelings and connections - enabling holistic designs that resonate, and are focused on your audience's needs.
-
Hall of Design collaborates with other industry experts to bring these experiences to life. While our focus is primarily project management, design concept and graphical elements, we also collaborate with interior designers, architects, signwriters and other professionals, depending on the nature and complexity of the project.
